The PM of Georgia Met Azerbaijani Delegation Of Religious Leaders

t the Administration of the Government of Georgia the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili together with the religious leaders of the Administration of Muslims of All Georgia and the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze held a meeting with Azerbaijani religious leader Sheikh Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade and other members of the delegation.

On April 19 Yezidis Celebrate New Year

ida Sarsale, according to Yezidi religious calendar is a New Year holiday  that is also known as Festival of Wednesday. Aida Sarsale dates back to the ancient cult of Mesopotamia. It is a celebration of prosperity and renewal of life. Yezidis believe that on this day the archangel Tousey Malak will make a touchdown from heaven and bless the earth and in every family as a sign of diversity the eggs are painted in different colors.

Zaza Vashakmadze attended Easter liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral

On April 16, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze attended Easter liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi that was conducted by Ilia II, His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia. Meeting with Ambassador of Estonia

On the 28th of March the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Georgia Ms. Kai Kaarelson.
