Ilia II the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia invited the representatives of all religious organizations in Georgia to the Patriarchate for the International Day of Tolerance. At the reception held on the initiative of the State Agency for Religious Issues and in accordance with the decision of the Patriarchate of Georgia the leader of the Georgian Orthodox Church said 

On the 16^th of November, International Day of Tolerance is celebrated worldwide. Since 1995 this day has been celebrated at the initiative of UNESCO the aim of which was to raise public awareness on the threats of extremism and discrimination and to establish mutual respect and understanding. 

The chairman of the State agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Georgia Radu Liviu Horumba. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The chairman of the agency talked about the relationship between the two countries and his special attitude towards Romania. He noted that Georgia and Romania are both Orthodox

Today on the 14^th of November, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze met with Kayla Chang, the Manager of International Law Department of a non-governmental organization - “Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL).

The chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze held a meeting  with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Germany to Georgia Heike Peitsch.

At the meeting they discussed in detail the issues regarding Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Georgia  and agreed that in the nearest future on these matters a working meeting with the participation of the Bishop Hans-Joachim Kiderlen  would be held. 

The State Agency for Religious Issues began conducting introductory meetings and planning co-operation  with newly appointed ambassadors.

On the 10^th of November, the chairman of the agency Zaza Vashakmadze met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic Of Latvia to Georgia Janis Zlamets at the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

Today, on November 7, a working meeting between the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze and Rayan Koening, US Embassy Political Officer, was held at the agency.

On the 3^rd of November, in Akhaltsikhe in the village of Mokhe, Adigeni municipality, a regular meeting of Mokhe Commission studing the existing circumstances regarding the status of the half-ruined building planned to be opened as a club, was held.
