Today, the Union of Georgian Baptist Churches celebrates Christmas. A Christmas liturgy was held at the Christ the Savior Church in Tbilisi of the Christian Baptists.
After the solemn service, on behalf of the Government of Georgia, Zaza Vashakmadze, Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, congratulated the parishioners and clergy on Christmas and wished them success.
The hosts, Bishop Gia Kandelaki, Church Elder of Tbilisi Church Levan Akhalmosulishvili and Deacon Tariel Papinashvili thanked the Government of Georgia and the Agency for their support.
Zviad Tkabladze, an analyst at the Strategic Research, Analysis and Regional Service and Davit Davitashvili, a senior specialist at the Legal Maintenance Office of the Agency, attended the ceremony.
