State Agency for Religious Issues and Georgian Branch of FriedensBote Mission visited St. Ambrosi Khelaia School at the village of Salkhino, Martvili region and provided the schoolchildren with necessary humanitarian assistance, 2 tons of clothing.

There are 155 pupils in the boarding school and majority of them are socially vulnerable, deprived of parental care and orphans. There is a workshop of Cloisonne Enamel at the school where the pupils are given the opportunity to master this extracurricular branch.

The school has been functioning in the Diocese of Chkondidi and Martvili under the auspice of Metropolitan Petre (Tsaava). The boarding school leadership, Metropolitan Petre and the agency chairman Zaza Vashakmadze agreed that such kind of relationship and co-operation would be continued in future as well.
