On November 16, in connection with the International Day for Tolerance, the Evangelical Faith Church of Georgia hosted the representatives of religious organizations. The solemn conference organized by the Evangelical Alliance and the Evangelical Faith Church of Georgia was opened yesterday, the goal of which is to promote Christian values and a healthy way of life.
The representatives of religious organizations, diplomatic corps, government of Georgia, foreign guests, including the world-famous British missionary, director and documentarian, Doctor of Theology, David Gordon Hathaway, participated in the event held in the Olympic Hall. Within the framework of the event, a speech was held by veteran Christian stars of the US National Basketball Association (NBA).
The invited guests were welcomed by the chairman of the State Agency of Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, who gave a high assessment to the event and emphasized the cooperation of the state and the church, which is demonstrated by the solemn conference and the celebration of the International Day for Tolerance in this format.
The solemn conference will end on November 18.
