In 2019, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, with a number of events dedicated to the anniversary, Today, December 19, was held a meeting between the Government of Georgia and the United Nations Children's Fund. Already this year, clergymen from various religious organizations have been trained to raise awareness in field of children's rights. This project, as one of the priorities of the 2020 work plans, will continue next year.
The presentation also presented the expected results, achievements, challenges and priorities of the 2020 Action Plan. In June 2020, Georgia will have a Child Rights Code, which will further contribute to the success of the joint project.
