During the visit in Austria, the delegation of religious Agency, Georgian Ambassador in the Republic of Austria - David Dondua Embassy envoy - George Tabatadze met representatives of Austrian Parliament: Austrian ruling party leader, former parliamentary speaker - Wolfgang gertsls, legislative speaker - Norbert Zibers and the Human Rights Committee Chairman, head of the Austrian-Georgian Parliamentary Friendship Group - Nikolaus sherak.

Zaza Vashakmadze, the chairman of the Agency for Religions, introduced the activities of the Religious Agency within the framework of the Human Rights Government Action Plan.

The unique approval has been given to inter-religious council format, annual inter-religious conferences, inter-religious calendar performed by classical and braille letters also religious maps.

Austrian parliamentarians were interested in the religious diversity of Georgia, including the peaceful coexistence of Muslim communities, Sunni and Shiites and expressed their desire to get closer to this unique model.

Members of the parliamentary delegation introduced the details of the religious policy of Austria and the existing regulations and promised to engage the guests in the process of preparation of legislative projects.
