On the 3rd of November, in Akhaltsikhe in the village of Mokhe, Adigeni municipality, a regular meeting of Mokhe Commission studing the existing circumstances regarding the status of the half-ruined building planned to be opened as a club, was held.
Members of the commission discussed the solution of the problems facing Muslim community of Mokhe village as a result of which two options were offered for the Muslim community to solve this problem:
- To redeem the hitherto existent house of worship for Muslim congregation and give it to the Administration of Muslims of All Georgia;
- To propose an alternative land for the construction of mosque in the village of Mokhe.
National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia have been asked: to present proposals about protection, maintenance and conjectural status of the so-called disputed building for the next meeting.
The decision was made as a result of consensus by the members of the commission.
