On the 28^th of March the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Georgia Ms. Kai Kaarelson.

Zaza Vashakmadze thanked the newly appointed ambassador as a representative of a friend and partner country, for the support of Georgia and wished her success in future activities.

The Chairman of the agency introduced the guest the activities performed, the decisions made by the state in this field and he offered the ambassador a cooperation in terms of sharing mutual experiences.

Kai Kaarelson once again confirmed that Georgia could be the model for other countries in terms of religious diversity and peaceful coexistence.

The ambassador praised the agency’s activities performed in order to strengthen inter-religious dialogue and interreligious cooperation and expressed her will to support and assist the agency in all the issues.
