A Georgian delegation was present in the Kakhi region of Azerbaijan, which included Metropolitan Theodore (Chuadze) of Akhaltsikhe and Taoklarjeti from the Patriarchate of Georgia, priest Petre Khumarashvili, nuns and chanters, representatives of Lagodekhi and Dedoplistskaro city halls and assemblies, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, and the Agency staff.
The members of the delegation visited the Kakhi region, where the Metropolitan of Akhaltsikhe and Taoklarjeti, Theodore, and the priest Petre Khumarashvili, the leader of the Kakhi St. George’s Church, conducted a religious service in the church.
Metropolitan Theodore thanked the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, whose great merit is the delegation's visit to Kakhi.
Then the members of the delegation met with the head of the executive authority of the Kakhi region, Musa Shekiliev, and the Georgians living in Kakhi.
