The chief adviser to the president noted that he often visits Georgia, and every time he is convinced of how tolerant the Georgian nation is and is pleased with the development and progress of Georgia. Israfil Kisla emphasized the equality between people and added that during the pandemic, Turkey helped foreign countries in such a way that it considered people as the only priority, regardless of their religious or other differences.
The chairman of the Agency spoke at length about the projects supporting religious minorities, including the Muslim community of Georgia, and the steps taken in this regard.
The parties positively assessed the activities carried out for the benefit of the common interests of the two countries and expressed their readiness to continue cooperation to prepare interesting projects for the agenda of the future visits for the high officials of the countries.
The chief adviser to the president spoke about the progress of the Turkish education sector and put forward the idea of opening a Georgian-Turkish university.
In conclusion, Israfil Kisla thanked both the Agency and the host counterpart organization for organizing the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Giorgi Janjghava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkey, and Davit Davitashvili, Head of the Legal Maintenance office of the Agency.
