At the Administration of the Government of Georgia, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia, Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Mutawa.
At the meeting, attention was focused on the prospects of deepening the relations between the two countries in the field of religion. The chairman of the Agency informed the Ambassador about the recent activities of the Agency, including those related to the Muslim community.
H.E. Ahmed Al-Mutawa noted with satisfaction the tolerant religious policy of the State of Georgia and thanked the chairman of the Agency for his hospitality.
