Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Giorgi Ukleba met with the Counsellor, Charge d’affaires of the Kingdom of Norway Marko Soldic, Ambassador’s advisor on Political and Economic Affairs David Maghradze and representative of the Norwegian Church, Pastor Leif Magne Helgessen.

The Deputy Chairman of the Agency briefed the guest on Georgia's religious policy and informed on the financing of confessions and the transfer of cult buildings by the state. They also discussed the activities of the Interreligious Council and the projects implemented by the Agency.

Charge d’affaires of the Kingdom of Norway, Marco Soldik informed the Deputy Chairman of the Agency about newly opened Embassy. The guests thanked the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Religious  Issues for providing information. They approved the projects implemented by the Agency and noted that such projects were a novelty for them and express their desire to introduce them into their own country.  The state policy towards religious organizations was also positively evaluated.
