Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates Christmas and Epiphany on January 6.

In Tbilisi Surb Gevorg Cathedral, the Holy Mass of Christmas and Epiphany was held by the head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia, Rev. Archimandrite Father Kirakos Davtyan. After the service, the water consecration was performed - baptism of Jesus and immersion of the cross in water.

The religious service was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatian and the employees of the State Agency for Religious Issues. The chairman of the Agency congratulated the head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia, Rev. Archimandrite Father Kirakos Davtyan, the clergy and the parishioners on the holiday.

The Armenian Apostolic Church is the only one among the Christian churches that celebrates Christmas and Epiphany together.
