Today, January 6, the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church celebrates the Nativity of Christ, the Annunciation and the Epiphany together. Representatives of the State Agency for Religious Issues congratulated the parishioners gathered at the Tbilisi Surb Gevorg Church on the greatest holiday. This year, too, according to tradition, a festive service was conducted, a water blessing was held and the service of immersion of a cross in the water was performed. The service was attended by Zaza Vashakmadze, Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Giorgi Ukleba, Deputy Chairman and Giorgi Patashuri, employee of the Analytical Service. The Chairman of the Agency congratulated the Head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia, Archimandrite Kirakos Davtiani, the clergy and the parishioners on the holiday, wished them success and progress.
