Today, on November 7, a working meeting between the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues Zaza Vashakmadze and Rayan Koening, US Embassy Political Officer, was held at the agency.

They discussed the issues concerning a joint international conference, namely, the format, place and date of the conference, as well as participating institutions and individuals and the topics to be discussed at the conference.

The parties agreed to invite the experts and non-governmental organizations who are working on religious freedom in America, at the conference.

Zaza Vashakmadze and Rayan Koening also talked about inviting the representatives of those countries and agencies who may take part at the conference as observers.
