Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia, Seyed Ali Mojani, at the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

During the introductory meeting, the Chairman of the Agency congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success.

The conversation touched upon the activities of the Agency and issues of cooperation with religious organizations.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran thanked the Chairman of the Agency and reaffirmed his readiness for cooperation.

Zaza Vashakmadze presented the diplomat with the Agency's publications - "Functioning Cult Buildings in Tbilisi as of 2020", "Occupied Heritage", and "Religions in Georgia".
