Today, at the administration of the Government of Georgia, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Iran to Georgia, Mahmud Adibi. The current situation between Georgia and Iran in terms of freedom of religion and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
The Ambassador of Iran to Georgia thanked the Agency for reception and expressed his readiness to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries as much as possible.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador’s advisor on cultural issues, Ahmad Ali Mehri Ardestani and the representative of Al Mustafa University, Hassan Yousefzadeh
