At "Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metekhi Palace", the joint international conference of the State Agency for Religious Issues and the non-governmental organization of the United States of America, "Institute of Global Engagement", on the topic: "Religion and the Rule of Law" is opening. In this regard, at the Administration of the Government of Georgia, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the participants of the "Institute of Global Engagement " and the international conference.

According to the chairman of the Agency, at a time when the modern world is constantly facing new challenges, it is important to protect freedom of religion both at the personal and state level.

The invited guests, representatives of the "Institute of Global Engagement" and religious experts representing China, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Germany, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Hungary and Singapore thanked the chairman of the Agency for his warm welcome and hoped that the work of the three-day conference would be fruitful.
