At the Administration of the Government of Georgia, the chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Georgia, Salman bin Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh.
The religious policy of the State of Georgia, the activities of the State Agency for Religious Issues and the implemented projects, the financing of religious organizations, the trainings carried out within the framework of the governmental action plan for human rights, the activities of the Interreligious Council, the current situation in the direction of religious freedom - these were mainly the topics that Zaza Vashakmadze informed the guest about.
At the end, Zaza Vashakmadze congratulated the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia on his appointment and expressed hope that the embassy's cooperation with the Agency will be successful.
Salman Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh thanked the Agency for receiving and expressed a desire of cooperation.
