The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia, Ms. Meline Arakelian, Ambassador-at-large of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for Freedom of Religion and Belief, Mrs. Bea ten Tusscher, employee of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Alexander Ackerbom and Political Advisor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ms. Lela Lomia visited the Agency.
The guests were interested in the religious policy of the State of Georgia, including the priorities of the Agency, the mechanism of compensation by the state for the material and moral damage caused during the Soviet period to various religions and in the state's relationship with the Orthodox Church.
Zaza Vashakmadze thanked the guests for visiting and talked about the new projects of the Agency. The chairman paid special attention to the facts of violations of human rights, including religious rights, in the occupied territories of Georgia.
