In Washington, at the opening of the forum “Cooperative Engagement & Builders” organized by the American non-governmental organizations - “International Religious Freedom Secretariat” (IRF Secretariat) and “Love Your Neighbor Community” (LYNC), the Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Issues, Zaza Vashakmadze, met with the Advisor of the White House Faith Office, Paula White-Cain. The Chairman of the Agency was introduced to the conference participants by the Founder and CEO of the “International Religious Freedom Secretariat”, Greg Mitchell.
The Agency Chairman briefly introduced the Advisor of the White House Faith Office to the main aspects of Georgia's religious policy and the functions of the Agency. He emphasized Georgia's important role in the South Caucasus and expressed his desire to deepen cooperation with the United States, especially given that Georgia's Western policy remains unchanged and its course is toward the European Union.
Zaza Vashakmadze invited Paula White-Cain, advisor of the White House Faith Office, to Georgia.
