“Georgia is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in humanitarian and religious spheres,” the Head of the State Agency for Religious Issues of Georgia Zaza Vashakmadze said.

He said that he had already stressed the importance of reciprocal visits between the Georgian and Azerbaijani delegations during his meetings in Turkey, Iran and Germany.

“We plan to visit Azerbaijan for learning the experience of the country in religious and social issues, and also for exchanging the views. The Embassy of Georgia to Azerbaijan discusses the details of the visit with relevant agencies. I think that this visit will take place at the end of February."
